The Eddie V. Gray Wetlands Educational and Recreation Center houses the Bayer Living Science Lab where visitors use microscopes to view nature-themed specimens. The Bob Craig Exhibit Hall houses live animals; including snakes and other reptiles, a honeybee hive, coastal animals, and even baby alligators. Other exhibits include Some Like It Fresh, Mixed-Up Marsh, Wings Over Wetlands and Animals of the Night. Pelts, mystery boxes, and a Children’s Discovery Room are also part of the 9,000 square foot hall. A boat ramp into Goose Creek is located behind the Wetlands Center, along with a floating dock for fishing. There is no charge to use the boat dock.
