What types and sizes of buildings are best suited for tilt-up?
Most tilt-up buildings are used for warehouses and factories, but we have used tilt-up effectively for low-rise office buildings, mini-storage facilities, and strip malls. Typically, tilt-up buildings are 20,000 s. f. or larger, but we have used this method of construction for buildings as small as 2,500 s. f. In fact, we have done more buildings that were less than 20,000 s. f. than greater, and we have built over 1,000 tilt-up buildings.
