What type of yoga is taught at Yog Sadhan Ashram?
We teach yoga in its entirety. That is, we teach and practice all aspects of yoga. While many people believe yoga is limited to physical exercise, the path of a yogi includes the development of the body and mind with the goal of spiritual liberation (samadhi). To help those on this path, the Ashram teaches postures (asanas), cleansings (kriyas), breath control (pranayama), meditation (dhyana), study of scriptures (gyana), selfless action (karma) and devotion (bhakti).
