What type of Wrestling fans are Stereotyped the most & why?
Being from North Carolina, I can honestly say that the southern wrestling fan gets the brunt of the stereotypical ridicule. A part of it may be due to the uprising of wrestling in places like Tennessee, Florida, and North Carolina, but I think a majority of the world honestly believes the south is 20 years behind on everything. We’re presumed to be some sort of back asswards mullet sporting rubes who go to a wrestling event barefooted in overalls, wooing at every chop while thinking it’s all real. I presume most people think we lack internet connection as well, or any type of electronic technology. Well, world, here’s a news flash. Southern does NOT equal amish.
