What type of weather is there in the remnant rainforest?

I live in the rainforest in Tropical North Queensland (Kuranda). It is actually all of these, dry, wet, rainy. Contrary to popular belief, it doesn’t rain constantly in the rainforest. Even during the wet season, Dec to Feb, we may have a few days of drizzle, mixed with some medium showers, then a cloudburst with very, very heavy rain. I’m talking like someone with a firehose on your roof-type rain. Then we might have a couple of days of clear blue skies. Outside the wet season, such as now, for example today is bright & sunny; all this week oscillating between fine to overcast but no rain, bit of drizzle overnight; last week clear & blue. So, in other words, diverse.
