What type of wave is a water wave?

Short Answer: B Water waves and S waves (a type of seismic wave) are both transverse waves. In transverse waves, the vibrations are at right angles to the direction of travel. But if you can choose more than one answer choose b and d cause the second referenced site says that water is both transverse and longitudinal. I would guess its only transverse though.
