What type of warranty does Locklear-Bourgeau Custom Homes offer?
We offer a comprehensive one-year warranty from the date of move-in. Once our clients have moved into their new home, we ask clients to identify any problems and make a “punchlist” to be completed after 30 days. There is nothing magical about the 30-day period, only that through experience this usually gives our clients enough time to get settled in and allows all the nicks and dings which occurred during furniture move-in to be identified and repaired. In addition to taking care of drywall and paint touch-ups, or anything else that may require attention during the first year, we offer a two-year warranty on all mechanical systems (HVAC, Plumbing). Locklear-Bourgeau warrants the structural integrity of our foundation designs for a period of ten years.
