What type of wallbed frame should I choose?
There are a variety of frames on the market and all have their pros and cons. This is our opinion of some of the beds on the market:- Murphy Wallbed (our preferred frame) Perhaps the best known and the oldest. These frames originate many years ago in America and are supplied via us and Murphy Wallbeds UK – like Hoover they have become the generic term for any folding bed. Murphy frames are tough and robust and come in single, double and kingsize for the headmount bed and single and double sidemount. Murphy are so confident of their frames, they come with a lifelong warranty. These all mount to the floor and use springs to return the bed into the upright position. The doors fold to the side. In the case of the single, the two doors can be bifold to fold to one side only, or can be like a traditional wardrobe and fold one door to each side.
