What type of tree makes coco beans?
Nowadays, the tree’s range has greatly expanded, far beyond its original area. For leading growers of the tree, and cultivators of its products, aren’t found just in Latin America [Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru, and Venezuela]. They’re found also in Africa [Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria, Republic of the Congo, Sierra Leone, and Togo]; and in Asia [India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Philippines]. And they’re found on southwestern Pacific islands [Papua New Guinea, and Solomon Islands].
