What type of tree do you usually purchase for Christmas? Blue Spruce, Milwaukee Green, Long Island Red?

Ever since I heard that was the tree the Bushes had in the White House, and I saw how pretty it was, I had to have one. Blue Spruce is a beautiful tree, but wear gloves ~ they are super prickly. We have two out in our yard and we put big lights on them every year. You can see them from across the canyon and they are really lovely. Last year a lady drove up to our house and gave me a box of cookies, as a “thank you” for putting up our trees…that was a yummy bonus. I’ve never heard of a Long Island Red (Rhode Island red – the bird, not so easy to decorate) and I’ve never heard of a Milwaukee Green, either, but I imagine you could use string cheese instead of tinsel, and it would be quite nice.
