What type of training is provided to new employees?
Training is a continual process at American Background. The length of initial new-hire training depends on the department and the individual, typically one or two weeks. Most departments have a departmental trainer who will train or retrain as needed. New hires also participate in a training rotation within the first several months of their employment. The training rotations offer a better idea of the functions and processes of each different department and how they fit into the company as a whole. American Background also offers weekly training and individual sessions that are open to all employees, whether they have been here for five days or five years.
