The Ministry will be providing a two day training program for all accredited and conditionally accredited freelance interpreters. Conditionally accredited interpreters are also required to complete a skills development plan that outlines the skill development activities that they will undertake on their own. Examples include: self-study, workshops and training seminars, web-based courses, etc. Proof of training is required before conditionally accredited interpreters may take the test again. A training resource list is sent to conditionally accredited interpreters with their results letters. Additionally, the Ministry will provide test preparation classes free of charge. These preparation classes build on the test preparation material that is already available online and will provide helpful information on how to best utilize the online material.
