SBA established the Federal Dollar$ and Sense Workshops to educate women business owners on how to do business with the federal government. The workshops provide women with opportunities to network with public and private-sector purchasing officials. During fiscal year 1999, the SBA held more than 114 workshops and provided valuable procurement assistance to more than 5,700 women-owned small businesses.
