What type of telephone line will be required?
A standard analog business telephone line, sometimes known as plain old telephone service (POTS), that will be used for connecting the TAVIS unit to the central inspection database. This telephone line can either be dedicated solely for use of the TAVIS interface device (recommended) or shared with other devices in a manner approved by the department.
