What type of technical assistance will grantees receive?
Technical assistance and consultation will be provided to each of the grantees by the Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities NPO. The NPO will assign a project officer to each grantee to help identify project needs and coordinate assistance. Additionally, the NPO will link grantees to other resources, such as the new Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Center to Prevent Childhood Obesity. Project leaders and paid project staff will be expected to participate in a learning network with other grantees and partnerships. Activities may include participating in teleconferences, Web casts, strategy sessions, peer exchanges, conferences and/or professional development seminars and trainings.
