Each workstation is configured to perform common tasks that support teaching and learning, such as: • Word processing, spreadsheet creation, presentation design and database management • Web browsing and electronic mail functions In addition, the computers will allow you to: • Listen to an audio CD • Watch a DVD • Burn a CD • Perform simple image editing A few of the computer stations (located near Room 207) are also equipped with scanners to: • Scan and edit pictures • Scan printed documents and convert them into word processing or PDF files DEC scanning station Top
