Normally surface preparation is accomplished by mechanical methods such as chipping and/or sandblasting to produce a +/- 1/8 inch fractured aggregate profile which is free of all contaminates. If steel is present, sandblast steel to a white metal finish and immediately apply two coats of Sto Bonding & Anti-Corrosion Agent followed with the application of the appropriate Sto Repair Mortar.
