In honor of National Education Week, which runs from November 16 to 21, MCT will donate $10 to the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Educational Foundation, Inc. for every new member who joins MCT during National Education Week. “We chose to donate funds to the MCPS Educational Foundation since its mission aligns so closely with MCT’s community outreach mission of supporting schools and students,” explains MCT’s School Relationship Manager, Stacie Shapero. The MCPS Educational Foundation awards funds to schools and staff for projects designed to provide innovative educational programs for students. In addition, the Foundation awards need-based scholarships to graduating MCPS high school seniors. Interested individuals can open an MCT account at an MCT branch.
