The majority of AC&TI’s troubleshooting tasks originate from certified NMCI applications that exhibit functionality flaws after their deployment into the NMCI environment. Errors may also occur at any point during testing inside the AC&TI Lab. When errors occur the Lab attempts to identify and correct those errors. Strike Re-Test – A Strike Re-test is a CLIN0147 application that has been returned from the current NMCI certification facility team due to a problem/error with the application. When a strike re-test occurs, AC&TI re-evaluates the application and works with the SME, submitter, current NMCI certification facility and possibly the vendor to come up with a new solution to get the application certified. Developmental – Compatibility testing during vendor or government development of the application. Functional – Refers to a post developer application operability test.
