What type of service requirements will I be expected to complete as an undergraduate Greehey Scholar?
All Greehey Scholars will be actively engaged in promoting the Marianist traditions and philosophy through the program’s service activities. Throughout each Greehey Scholar’s years at St. Mary’s, he or she will pursue service activities that give back to the community as a whole through co-hort and personal community service opportunities. Greehey Scholars will also engage in service learning opportunities that will utilize the academic and business skills they are developing in each of their various degree plans by providing instruction and technical skills to community individuals. Each area of community service and service learning will offer unique experiences through both individual and group opportunities. The service requirement for undergraduate Greehey Scholars is 12-15 hours per week.
