What type of seniority counts in the hiring process for different positions?

0

For all type 1 (CD) or type 2 (tutor) positions, all accrued type 1 or type 2 prior experience adds to your experience count (up to the annual maximum that one can count which is 3 type 1 or equivalent) for type 1 or 2 appointments. For example, every unit of type 1 seniority is equal to three type 2 units of seniority for tutor appointments. 1type 1=3 type 2 Similarly, every 3 type 2 units of seniority is equal to 1 type unit of seniority for type 1 appointments. 3 type 2=1 type 1 Every whole or partial type 1 and type 2 appointment is equal to one type 3 unit of seniority for type 3 (e.g. marker/grader) appointments. However, type 3 seniority does not convert into type 1 or type 2 seniority.
