People that make really good nurse anesthetists are people that are very good at being able to make a decision, and being able to make a decision very quickly, because things happen in the operating room and you have to decide what’s going on and what you’re going to do about it and then do something about it. So you need somebody who is very self-confident, somebody who absolutely knows what they are doing, has good training and that good experience — so people that are very self confident, know what they are doing, can make a decision and can do the things that need to be done — because a lot of times you are not in a situation where you can go out and get a second or third opinion.
