I have a perm myself. I personally definitely would recommand you go to Japanesse people for a Japanesse straightening. ANy other type of professional perm DO NOT last. The Jap perm lasts until your hair grows out, and then you just have to straighten the roots out yourself. But the rest will alywas stay straight, even after being washed dozens of times.
