Get rid of all your credit cards, but one. You could benefit from a credit card with no annual fee, but a high interest rate by paying off everything you charge at the end of each month and NEVER carry a debt. You’ll develop a great credit score, some cards give 3% and better cash back on every purchase (ie. you pay $100 and at the end of the month get $3 back, hmmm I charge, food, gas, clothes, utilities, etc. I go on-line weekly and pay down the credit card out of my checking account. This way I keep track of the credit card balance, deducting from the checking and know when to stop, STOP and wait until the next month. Everything you own will be paid for and you’ll enjoy life without the terrible pressures of creditors and loss of money to interest charges.
