What type of ozone generator is used for water treatment?
Either a corona or UV generator can be used. A corona generator produces a highly concentrated ozone; however, it needs an air dryer or oxygen generator with it or it will produce nitric acid and nitric oxide, which will contaminate the water and burn out the generator. Generally coronas are used for high volumes or high concentration and UV are used for low volumes of low concentration. UV has no maintenance.
