What type of microphone does Danny Filth use?
I’m not sure of the actual brand, but he does not use vocal effects to achieve his sound. Most metal vocalists don’t anyway. I am in a black metal band and i can achieve alot of the same pitches relatively easily, form very low, to low, to mid, to high, to shrieks. You just have to learn how to sing in a classical way first then, then apply the principle to singing in a metal rasp, growl, etc.
