What type of medical tests are required?
The Qatar Foundation requires new international students to undergo, and test negative to, a chest x-ray for Tuberculosis, HIV antibody, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C tests. To ensure residency, Qatar Foundation recommends that international students take the above tests before coming to Doha. Nevertheless, Qatar Foundation in coordination with SFS-Q will arrange for these medical tests after students arrive in Doha. In addition to these medical tests, Georgetown University School of Foreign Services in Qatar requires all students at the time of registration to provide a certificate of immunization and Tuberculosis skin test completed by a primary care physician.
