What type of medical care will be available while abroad?
The quality and availability of medical care will differ within the countries that Pangaea participants visit. Parents/guardians and participants will have an Orientation specifically on health issues within the destination country. All Pangaea participants are covered under a comprehensive group medical insurance plan during the international component. All group leaders are trained in CPR and First Aid, and they will carry a medical kit with necessary supplies at all times. Pangaea will have an established relationship with a local doctor and medical clinic, which will be available and accessible at all times while abroad.
