What type of maintenance is required to be performed on an industrial robot and how often?
A. Industrial robots are very robust and require little maintenance. We recommend a preventive maintenance program that includes an inspection for the robot by one of PRI Robotics’ certified engineers, greasing of the harmonics with the appropriate grease and replacing the batteries. Depending on how many hours the robot runs, one or two times per year is generally sufficient.
