What type of lumps can be found because of cancer that are not related to breast cancer?
Well some kinds of cancers of your blood stream or cancer of the lymph nodes can cause your lymph nodes to swell up. They appear as lumps and usually feel hard. Most of the time if it is cancerous, the bumps are no painful. They appear on the neck, arm pits, and in the groin area most of the time. Some of the cancers that cause this include Hodgkin lymphoma, Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and leukemia. But if your notice something like that appear on your body you shouldn’t freak out and jump to any conclusions because things like mono, strep, and infections can cause lymph node swelling. But it’s still important to see a doctor right away because if it is some kind of cancer the sooner it is caught, the better.
