OALS provides a broad range of legal services to the University. OALS attorneys practice in a variety of areas including constitutional law, labor and employment, contract review, student and faculty issues, tax, litigation, copyright and trademark, environmental, safety, medical malpractice/risk management, sponsored research, public records and open meetings. See the Practice Areas section of our website for a listing of specific attorney practice areas. Staffing for certain standing committees is also provided.
