What type of Internet connection is required?
Any type of connection, high speed LAN, T1, Cable, or DSL. However, the faster your internet connection, the better. The rate of transfer of your data from your computer to our offsite server is dependant on how fast your computer can access the Internet. For most small businesses, a DSL or Cable speed connection is sufficient. For individuals backing up smaller files from your home computer even a dialup connection is sufficient.
Whether you have a full T1 Internet connection, or you are using a modem to dial up to the Internet from your home office, Lingo works equally well. It has been designed in a way that allows you the fastest means of processing your documents, even if you are using a 56K modem connection. What e-commerce standards does Lingo™ support?
