What type of insulation does Silver Crest Homes use?

0

The two types we use are flexible and blown-in insulation. Flexible insulation comes in a batt or blanket. These two types are used to insulate the outer walls, between studs and vaulted ceilings and is held in place by friction and covered by sheets of poly. Our homes have an insulation factor of R-28 on the outside walls. Loose fill insulation is blown in / batt insulation and is used to build up a desired thickness on a level surface. The material mostly used is fiber-glass and this provides an R-40 insulation factor in the attic and ceiling.
