What type of injuries are compensable?
Typically, the more serious the injury the more likely the injury will be considered compensable. For example, loss of the use of an arm or a leg or amputation; loss of your ability to perform routine daily activities due to the injury; prolonged or unnecessary treatment due to a delay in diagnosing a disease or injury; reduction in life expectancy due to negligent treatment or delay in treatment; and other significant injuries.
