What type of ID is acceptable?
• California Driver’s License or non driver’s identification card • Driver’s license or non driver’s identification issued by any US state • An employee ID card issued by a city and/or county or the state of CA • Driver’s License issued in Mexico or Canada • US Passport • Foreign passport stamped by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) • U.S.A. Military ID • Inmate Identification Card – must be issued by Department of Corrections • I.D. card issued by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) In the absence of above mentioned ID, Credible Witnesses (2 people who personally know the signer and have an ID) may be used These are not accepted: • Social Security card • Credit card • Temporary driver’s license • Any ID without a photograph and physical description • The Common Access Card (CAC) from US Military.
