Answer Dear Jorge Thanks for your question. I have looked up some sites about ferrets, but have given some basic information about monkeys and wild pigs. Please note, i could not find any details about specifications and minimum standards. These vary from country to country. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has done surveys of various zoos and have come up with minimum standards for some species. A few years ago, it surveyed elphant enclosures in British zoos. London Zoo did not meet the minimum requirements, so its elephants were moved to Whipsnade, where there is a much bigger enclosure. Some of the elephants at Whipsnade have subsequently bred. The RSPCA and other animal charities can check on the conditions animals are kept in. Basically, an animal should have enough space so it can move comfortably around its enclosure and there is access to a sleeping area. There should also be a facility for the animal to escape aggressive animals or to be kept apart fr
