What type of housing accommodations are available for Jazz Residency participants?
Jazz Residency participants who pay for a housing package are housed in dormitories located on the Stanford University Campus. Housing packages are either for a single (space permitting) or shared room. Generally, students with a shared room assignment will be placed with one other same sex roommate. Roommate requests can be submitted with the general application. A roommate request is not a guarantee of rooming placement, although SJW does its best to accommodate requests. The dorms have shared, same sex bathroom/shower facilities. Dorms do not have air conditioning. Because it can get hot during the summer at Stanford, we advise all participants to bring their own fan.
