What type of historian is Michael Lynch in relation to the chinese revolution?
In relation to the Russian Revolution, he is a liberal historian. This is because he beleives that it was specific people, like Tsar Nicholas 2nd, and the effects of WW1 that caused the Russian Revolution (February). He is hence colored by Cold War, ant marxist, mentality and disagrees with Trotsky and Lenin’s beleifs that it was the masses who cause the revolution. He also happens to be one of my persona favorite historians, and i have quoted him many times in my history essays at school.
