Over based calcium sulfonate is installed at the factory. The manufacturer of this grease is a company called Metal Cote out of Chicago, IL. Any good marine grade, water resistant grease, such as is provided by this manufacturer, is recommended. Different types of grease shouldn’t be mixed.
