What type of glue is used on the nest boxes and ladders and is it safe for my birds?

The glue is called Titebond II. It is water-proof and extremely strong. The glue has been FDA approved for use on cutting boards that come into contact with human food. Though more expensive than common white glues, we have been using it for several years and feel that it is the best available. It is very safe for the birds.
