What type of gecko is the geico mascot?
OK why do people answer questions when they have NO idea what the real answer is. Anyway, it’s supposed to be a type of day gecko. I know because I used to keep them. There are different types of day geckos and they are all brightly colored like the Geico mascot. Unlike most geckos they’re active by day, which is where they get their name. You can buy them at the pet store, but please don’t get one just so you can have the same type of lizard that’s on TV. Lizards really need specific care or they will die, and day geckos are not a good choice for beginners anyway. If you still want one, go to your library or bookstore and find some good books on geckos.
