What type of Flight School is Channel Islands Aviation (CIA)?
Channel Islands Aviation is a Cessna Pilot Center Flight School. CIA utilizes Cessna aircraft for training along with their training syllabus. How does ground school work? As a Cessna Pilot Center, CIA follows Cessna’s web-based Instruction course “Cleared for Takeoff.” This program is the only fully integrated curriculum of its kind where customers view lab lessons at home on their computer and then come to the airport for flight lessons. All ground instruction will be done at home on the customer’s own time, rather than in a classroom lecture environment. How do flight lessons work? CIA encourages each client to fly at minimum, two to three times per week. This schedule is considered full time enrollment and allows the customer to consistently make progress.
