What type of farming is practiced in India?

0

Actually all types of farming practices are followed in India. Agriculture is very very localized and the techniques and practices of one region may not suit at all for another region. It all depends on the climate, topography and soil of a region. But we can safely say that organised agriculture is mainly intensive but not necessarily subsistence agriculture. Pastoral nomadism is very very rare except in mountainous terrains where no other farming system can be practised.
