What type of explanation regarding the ingredients is required?
You need to identify the aromatherapy ingredients used in each product. Be sure you identify aromatherapy ingredients and not “regular” ingredients. If you are unsure which ingredients are aromatherapy ingredients see your faculty member. Then explain what the usual effects of these aromatherapy ingredients are and then why they have been used in the specific products. For example, if chamomile has been used for it’s ability to soothe and calm and it has been used in a moisturizer for dry skin, it has been used because it will not overly stimulate this skin type. If patchouli oil is an aphrodisiac and it has been used in a fragrance it has likely been used for it’s seductive quality.
