What type of equipment does my child need in order to play baseball / softball?
The only essential item your child will need to have is a baseball / softball glove. Gloves can be purchased at any sporting goods store. If your not sure which glove is best for you child, ask the sales assistant at the store or your team coach for help. Bats are not required as each team is supplied with a number of bats. We do recommend that each player have a pair of baseball or soccer rubber-based spikes to prevent slipping on wet dirt or grass.
