Ans Equipment to be connected to the leased lines are to be Interface Approved from the Telecom Engineering Centre of DoT.One time connectivity approval may be granted for interface equipment imported by subscribers for their own use.While purchasing equipment through suppliers / manufacturers in India , the subscribers should insist on suppliers for valid interface approval certificate. For one time connectivity approval for equipment imported by him for his own use,the subscriber should approach CGM of concerned telecom circle/ CS Branch of Deptt. of Telecom Services , New Delhi.
