What type of education/training do Naturopathic Doctors receive?

0

Naturopathic Doctors require a minimum 3 years of undergraduate university sciences before being accepted into one of five accredited naturopathic colleges in North America. The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine is currently Canada’s only accredited naturopathic college. The final year of the program is a clinical internship where students treat patients under the supervision of a registered Naturopathic Doctor. After the second and fourth year of the program students write Naturopathic Physician Licensing Exams (NPLEX), the first step in the regulation of naturopathic medicine.
