What type of education do acupuncturists receive?
Acupuncturists receive four years of extensive graduate training at nationally certified schools. Most acupuncturists must pass national board exams as well as state licensing exams. They are also required to complete many hours of continuing education every year to maintain their license. The California Acupuncture Licensing exam is one the most difficult acupuncture exams in the US.
