What type of dress suits a short person?
I find that minidresses look great on people that aren’t all that tall. A maxi dress might overwhelm a small frame, and make them look frumpy. No frumpiness! Maybe one with a handkerchief hem, or one of those nice swaying ones that salsa dancers wear; I don’t know what they’re called, but when you spin around, the hem flares out. Those look good. Black is very slimming, and anyone of any size, shape, colour can wear it. Maybe some white accessories, or pink would look cute with it. Sorry, I’ve only been to the UK once, and I don’t remember all the stores, but most good clothing stores should sell little black dresses. Have fun! Hope I helped.
