The Program handles “unsecured” debt, meaning debt that is not secured with collateral. This type of debt includes credit cards, medical and legal bills, judgments, unsecured or personal loans of any type, retail debt and collections. The Program does not handle the following debt: home mortgages; automobile, motorcycle, boat, airplane and RV loans before the vehicle has been repossessed; IRS tax liens; government backed student loans; child support and alimony.
